Hand Embroidered Abaya
Designed in Jaffa by Hazar Grably, a designer and textile artist born and raised in the city. The abaya is made in collaboration with local seamstresses and embroidery artists — Tatreez embroidery in red, black, and gold runs across the garment, drawn from Palestinian embroidery traditions and the Islamic architectural patterns Grably grew up around.
Lightweight fabric with a fluid, loose silhouette. 125 cm long, 148 cm wide. Worn as a standalone layer or over other clothing.
