Turqouise Armenian Ceramic Fauna Bowl

A hand-painted ceramic bowl made in the Armenian Quarter of Jerusalem's Old City by Garo and Sonia Sandrouni. The design features birds and flowering branches on a turquoise ground — part of the layered decorative language the Sandrounis have worked in for over 30 years.

Each bowl is individually hand-painted and signed. Works as a serving bowl, a vessel for flowers, or a display piece on a shelf.
